Cleanair is an integrated air purifier in a long-lasting energy-saving light bulb. It removes smoke, eliminates foul smell and kills germs without the need to install separate bulky air-purifying machines to provide a clean, healthy environment for humans.
Cleanair was developed using the advanced low-temperature plasma technology. When a Cleanair light bulb is turned on, it releases a continuous stream of high-density electrified particles called Anion (O2-) and ozone (O3). O2- is a key element found in nature to refresh the air, restricting the breeding of germs as well as eliminating more than 85% of harmful bacteria including coli, and mould. O2- can be found in abundance in areas such as forests, waterfalls or at seaside, and it is generally known as the “vitamin in the air”. In fact, O2- content is a key benchmark used in assessing the air quality in many developed countries.
When O2- integrates itself with the germs cell in the air, it changes the structure of the germ cells and kills them promptly. Furthermore, O2- can also collect and absorb particles such as benzene, toluene, formaldehyde, smoke, dust and pollen, resulting in a natural sedimentation and air purification process taking place in the designated area.
Secondly, the O3 produced by Cleanair can effectively remove a range of air pollutants and minute suspended particulate matter including cigarette and cigar smoke.
