Job description
The web publisher / graphic designer will report directly to the Brand and Marketing manager. The key role of this position is to develop and maintain the company intranet and websites as well as to assist in graphic design needs for internal / external uses. We expect the successful candidate to have flexibility both in terms of time and effort to meet deadlines and complete the tasks on time.
Essential Functions / Core Responsibilities
- Develop professional web designs on time and on budget to the client.
- Contribute to all aspects of the project life-cycle, from initial analysis and design, through development to final implementation and support.
- Liaise with other team members from various departments regularly for updates and changes
- Co-ordinate company’s Intranet and websites.
- Liaise with the internal communications team and continue the drive towards web-enablement for all clients and services.
- Apply innovation, new technology and smart thinking to development, so we can deliver better systems, resulting in the best solution for the company at the most cost-effective price.
Requirement
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Relevant tertiary / professional qualifications in design / Information technology.
- Hands-on experience in editing content for intranet/ web publishing
- Ability to be pro-active, creative and innovative, whilst remaining business focused.
- Attention to detail in producing robust, quality, well-documented systems.
- Sound MS Office and modern web editing/publishing/mark-up experience.
- Ability to co-ordinate and contribute to internet related projects.
- High level of personal motivation and ability to work in teams.
