 Job description

The senior executive for regulatory compliance is responsible for overseeing the regulation process for products requiring governmental approval, including filing necessary applications and handling all government interactions.

Core Responsibilities

As the senior executive for regulatory compliance, your primary objective is to ensure prompt approval for import and sale from the regulatory agencies around the world.

You will achieve this goal by:

  • Conducting research on the regulatory requirement for importing our products into targeted countries in the global market.
  • Filling necessary application to the respective regulatory agencies in targeted countries to obtain registration approval for import and sale.
  • Handling all the interaction and correspondence with the respective regulatory agencies.
  • Provides regulatory support to cross-functional teams during product development cycles.
  • Reviews design history files/technical dossiers for compliance with the appropriate domestic and international regulatory requirements and approval as appropriate.
  • Reviews labeling and product information for accuracy and compliance to applicable regulations.
  • Develops and maintains regulatory knowledge of International regulatoins including but not limited to EU, Asian and South America markets.
  • Reviews ingredient and formula, label and claims, as well as product registration and document review.
  • Lead the regulatory review of labeling for compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintains knowledge of current, pending, future regulations for ingredient, products, packaging, labeling, claims, and related areas for product lines and markets as assigned and constantly evaluate new and existing products for compliance with regulations, develops and implement stratergies to maintain compliance.
  • Manages inspections from regulatory agencies as required.

 Requirement

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Engineering, Science or equivalent.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in working for a regulatory agency or regulatory compliance department of a multi-national company.
  • Good interpersonal multi-tasking skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Experience and knowledge in the healthcare and skincare industry is a plus.
